Cathay Dragon Aviation Certificate Programme 2017 now opens for application!

Our newly renamed programme offers local youngsters, aged 18-25, a great opportunity to explore the various facets of the fascinating industry over nine months.

From over 20 tailor-made trainings and visits to interaction with industry professionals and pilot mentors, the participants will benefit from gaining a world of aviation knowledge and developing positive attitude for an aspiring career in aviation. They will even get to experience the very special jump seat ride and witness first hand on how different sectors in aviation work and put together a safe and sound flight operation.

Cathay Dragon Aviation Certificate Programme 2016 Opens for Application!

Interested in discovering the dynamic aviation industry? We are now recruiting 40 young people for our “Dragonair Aviation Certificate Programme” 2016!

Cathay Dragon pilots will be providing mentorship to the successful applicants through a nine-month learning journey. You will also be given the exposure to attend lectures and training sessions, as well as briefings and facility visits organised by various aviation organisations.

Hong Kong permanent residents aged 18 – 25 are eligible to apply via here. Don’t miss the chance! (Application deadline: 13 December, 2015)

Cathay Dragon Youth Aviation Academy “Aviation Career Workshop 2015”

The Cathay Dragon Youth Aviation Academy (KAYAA) is going to organise an Aviation Career Workshop on 17th October 2015, inviting three supporting partners to introduce opportunities among the industry, share job specification and interview skills with secondary school graduates. Each participant will get a chance to visit one of the three organisations and know more about their daily operation*. Participating organisations included Cathay Pacific Service Limited (CPSL)Hong Kong Airport Services (HAS), and LSG Sky Chefs (LSG)

Target: Secondary school graduates
Quota: 100 pax
Date: 17 October 2015 (Sat)
Time: 9:30 am to 12:45 pm
Meeting point: KA house
Fee: Free of charge

*Each organisation visit has limited quota. Participant can choose which organisation they want to visit and places are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
